In 1A... Aquinas and Gordon Lee divided a pair of games. The Irish took game one 9-3 on a complete game by Andrew Fouchee. Gordon Lee took the second game 11-6 to force a decisive game 3 at Aquinas.

in 2A... Westside blanked Bleckley County twice... 10-0 and 15-0 in a pair of games called early with the 10 runn rule in effect. Georgia bound football standout Sanders Cummings hit 3 home runs for the Patriots.

In 3A... Harlem and Burke County were eliminated from the playoffs... the Bulldogs losing twice to troup... 7-3 and 17-7... and the Bears losing a pair on the road to Columbus Shaw... 12-2 and 6-4.

in 4A... Greenbrier makes short work of Jones County... wiinning 15-0 in an abbrviated first game and 10-3 in the second contest to advance.
