Despite home runs by Logan Gaines and Will Salley, Westside dropped game one of their 2A playoff series agianst Lovett 9-8. The second game was postponed by a thunderstorm that roared through the Augusta area and games 2 and 3, if necessary will be played at Westside on Wednesday.

Rained also delayed the finish of game 2 of the Greenbrier-Laganville series with the visitors leading 7-3 in the 5th inning. Greenbrier won game one 7-0 with a seven run 6th inning. They'll resume game two at Greenbrier on Wednesday with game 3 to follow, if necessary.
