ATHENS, Ga. (AP) _ Lipscomb, making its first appearance in the
NCAA baseball tournament, homered three times and stunned host
Georgia 10-7 in the opener of the Athens regional Friday.

Georgia (35-22-1) lost for the fifth time in six games and now
faces an elimination game Saturday afternoon against Louisville.

In the days second game. Jason Haniger and Charlie Blackmon each had three hits and two RBIs, leading Georgia Tech past Louisville 8-5. The 'Jacket play Lipscomb in the winners bracket Saturday night.
