...took place at Lucy C. Laney Stadium Saturday night... a jam packed stadium on hand for this one... as the Laney Wildcats hosted the Josey Eagles. Now playing in 2 different regions the schools won't play a regular season game this year.

But oh the action from last nights game... hard hitting defenses on both side of the football early on in this contest... where the two teams battled to a scoreless tie at the half. Laney's Eugene Moore did put up a big score that was called back because of holding... so no score at the half in this battle for bragging rights.

So take a seat my friends as we make ready for another season of Friday Night Lights on NBC Augusta... as I take you right onto the sidelines and on the bench.... where you dont just see the action... you can feel it too.

On NBC Augusta's Saturday night version of Friday Night Lights... Laney wins last nights scrimmage 21-8... where we're going right into the huddle... where you can see things from the coaches and players point of view... up close and personal..
