The 6th ranked and undefeaeted Golden Hawks against the once beaten Bulldogs... twixt the bricks in Thomson... where recent rains drenched the playing surface... and the sidelines were muddy... oh my... ...keep that in mind folks... it would be a factor... because that kept things to deeeefense... as these two powerhouses put it all on the line.

In second quarter play the Golden Hawks pushed Thomson back to their endzone... but the Dawgs caught a break on a booming punt by Phillip Anderson in which the Hawks turned the ball over... that had the fans in the stands on their feet at the Brickyard... still the Dawgs could not convert.

The play of the game in the firsrt half came down to another booming kick by Anderson punt... but all that did was split the d for Washington County... who returned it to the one yard line before getting their first score late in the half. Washington Co led 7-0 at the half... and goes on to win it 20-0 in Thomson for their fourth straight shutout. The Golden Hawks iimprove to 6-0... as the Bulldogs fall to 4-2.
