If you're an Augusta State fan you have to feel pretty good about the upcoming basketball season. The Jaguars return 7 players from last years Final Four team.

On Thursday night Dip Metress' club hit the hardwood for the first time as they prepare for their season opener against West Georgia on November 15th.

The Jags will be looking for their third straight Elite Eight appearance but coach Metress knows it won't be easy.

"It's going to be tough. We're in one of the toughest regions in the country. We're going to go out there and work hard everyday and get ready for West Georgia which is a month from today." said Metress
