Last year ARC got off to a 5 and 1 start but struggled down the stretch losing three of their last four and got knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. That stretch began with a 38-18 loss to Glenn Hills.

On Friday night the Musketeers got a great showing from their defense as they held off the Spartans 15-12.

In the first half ARC's Drek Reid intercepted a Kendrick Armstrong pass and took it 78 yards for a touchdown that gave the Musketeers a 15-6 lead at the half.

In the second half Glenn Hills got a spark from back up quarterback Chris Washington who came in for an injured Kendrick Armstrong. Washington would lead the Spartans on a 74 yard scoring drive to start the thrid quarter. That cut the lead to 15-12.

The lead would stay that way with about three minutes left in the game. Glenn Hills had one final shot but Kendrick Armstrong's pass would be picked off by Chris Gothie and that would seal the Musketeers 15-12 victory.
