Two weeks in a row it has come to blows between the Augusta Lynx and Charlotte Checkers... and for the second week in a row the Lynx win both the battle and the war. In Lynx-Checkers the sequel, Augusta scored first on a first period goal by Aaron Slattengren, his 21st of the season. Charlotte tied the contest in the second period.

That's when Will Bodine, who was involved in fisticuffs last week took a high stick to the side of his eye that required stiches... and exacted his revenge in another on-ice bout with a Checkers opponent. tied at one at the end of regulation... and overtime... the Lynx bobby Bolt gets the game winner in a shootout. Those fighting Lynx break a two game losing streak with a 2-1 shootout victory for their 15th win of the season.
