While the world waited to see who got the Green Jacket, it seemed everyone else on the course wanted to secure a piece of green.

"It's the final day of the Masters and on the 18th hole anything can happen," said Don Rueckert, golf fan.

But 10 hours before anyone knew what would happen at the 18th hole Rueckert claimed his spot.

"Believe it or not it's not that bad, on a beautiful day like today to kick up your feet and just watch. you know, watch the crowd," he said.

Another hot spot is the par-3 16th hole where hundreds of people set up early hoping to catch a tournament changing moment

"It's a pivotal hole, everyone remembers Tiger chipping in here, we'll see how it goes," said Stan Harris, golf fan.

"I'd like to see a change in the tournament right here -- we'll see Tiger knock it in for an ace and birdy 16 & 17," said Joe Fronczek, golf fan.

While folks spent all day staking out spots on the course, the hottest property might be what's in the golf shop -- the shelves were almost bare halfway through Sunday.

"It's running low, but I got what I wanted," said Marie Nicholas, golf fan.

"I should've come in to shop when I got here this morning," said John Alewine, golf fan.

Whether they got their hands on the last Augusta '08 gear -- the best seats -- or just got to walk golf's greatest course -- everyone left with memories for a lifetime.
