Augusta, GA – The Augusta GreenJackets (2-0) rallied for four runs in the sixth inning to take Game 2 from the West Virginia Power (0-2) on Tuesday night, 5-1. Starter Madison Bumgarner recorded the win and Angel Villalona capped the rally with a two-run homer.

Augusta trailed 1-0 heading into the sixth inning but Shane Jordan sparked the rally with a one-out single to chase starter Dan Merklinger from the game. Jordan promptly stole second base then scored when Nick Noonan followed with an RBI single up the middle to tie the game at 1-1.

With two outs in the frame Dayton Buller blooped a ball into short right-field that fell for a hit allowing Noonan to score all the way from first base with the hit and run on. Villalona followed with a two-run homer to left swinging at the first pitch he saw, his first homer of the playoffs.
