Augusta Groove holds dance team auditions

Augusta’s first professional basketball team, the Augusta Groove, is looking for a few good dancers.

Preliminary auditions for the team get underway Tuesday night at 7pm. The auditions will take place at Omni Fitness Club on Walton Way Extension.

Those interested must be at least 19 years-old, have a high school diploma or GED, and currently have a job or be a college student.

There is a $20 registration fee to audition.
