Stan Byrdy

There have been rainy days... and snowy nights in the World Series over the years... but never a game that hadn't been finished on the day it started... until this year... game 5 of the series that was suspended last night due to wet weather resumes tomorrow night in Philadelphia.

We don't have to go very far to see how the weather has impacted our sports schedule locally... rain is also playing at least a small role in this weeks barrel horse racing competition... as rain has an impact on dirt utilized in the sport. Arena Manager for the World Championships being staged at James Brown Arena, Scott Brown says the surface in Augusta is really good... and consistent... and getting better as this week of nice weather continues.
