At 5'7" 165 pounds, "Pee Wee" is what they call him... but the one thing that you can't measure is a man's heart... and that's where the neysayers went wrong... and tonight the diminuative Pedroia stands as one of the giants in major league baseball.

Just 4 years removed from his playing in a GreenJackets uniform in Augusta Pedroia is the runaway winner of the American League Most Valuable Player Award. He also becomes one of just 3 players all time... including Cal Ripken, Jr. and Ryan Howard to win Rookie of the year honors and then capture MVP honors the very next season.
