What a time to be a fan of the Steelers. The Pittsburgh Steelers won Super Bowl XLIII back in February, and now the Steelers of the Columbia County Recreation Department are NBC Augusta 26's Team of the Week.

This group of 9- and 10-year-olds say they love playing the game of football week in and week out.

"You get to smear people and make touchdowns." said Steelers RB, Brock Devore

"It's fun to cheer on your teammates, have fun and play." said Steelers RB, Hinson Fowler.

Steelers went on to win the CCRD 9 year old football championships at Greenbrier this past saturday. Way to go Steelers!
