AUGUSTA, Ga. - Not much is left of Tropical Depression Ana, and the National Hurricane Center is no longer issuing advisories on this system.
Hurricane hunters could not find a closed circulation this afternoon, and this indicates the storm has disintegrated into a broad tropical wave.
Ana will probably not redevelop as the remnants will interact with mountainous terrain of Hispaniola and Cuba.
Some of the residual moisture will likely move into Georgia and South Carolina by Friday. This could enhance showers and thunderstorms developing ahead of an approaching cold front.
