By Tina Terry tterry@nbcaugusta.com

Hartsfield Jackson International Airport had to divert several flights into Augusta due to severe weather Sunday night.

Augusta Regional's Director says 13 Delta, ASA, and AirTrain flights headed to Atlanta were diverted to Augusta between 5:30 and about 6pm Sunday.

Most of the planes got back into the air and headed toward Atlanta by 7:30pm.
