EAST PALATKA, Fla. (NBC NEWS) - A deafening lightning strike almost knocked a north Florida man off his feet over the weekend. Jim Bailey knows about electricity. He's spent 27 years working for Florida Power and Light, but says the strike that hit his yard as he was videotaping Saturday's thunderstorm is the first time he's ever been scared by high voltage.
