Record rains of two to four inches of rain fell this past weekend all across the CSRA. Drought conditions will likely improve in much of Georgia and South Carolina as a result of the rain.
Minimal rain is expected this week.
Most of the Aiken-Augusta area has improved to level D2 (severe) drought. Conditions are generally worse to the north and better to the south of Augusta.
