Power Outages Forces Several Area Schools And Businesses To Close

Below is a list of area schools and businesses that will be closed Monday due to power outages:

JEFFERSON COUNTY:

Wrens Elementary, Middle and Jefferson County High Schools will be closed for students only.

Glit-Microtron Plant will not be in operation.

AIKEN COUNTY:

Byrd, Clearwater, Gloverville, Jefferson, and Warrenville elementary schools will all be closed.

LBC Middle, Leavelle McCampbell Middle, and Midland Valley High are also closed as well, but teachers and staff are to report Monday on an hour delay if it is safe to travel.
