The Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar is sponsoring a project to help young women who cannot afford to buy a dress for their high school prom. The project’s goal is to match every “Cinderella” with a free dress to wear to “the ball.”

On March 8, 2008, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm we will be holding a “boutique” giveaway at the Maxwell Law Firm, located at 225 Chesterfield St., NW, Aiken, where the young women in Aiken County can select dresses, shoes, makeup, jewelry, and purses all at no charge. An Aiken County High School ID will be required.

We will also have drawings for hair styling donated by Cheveux Salon Spa and Tanning and Jagged Edge, as well as gift certificates for dinner to Aiken Brewing Company, Eejays, Fatz, O'Charley's, Red Lobster, and Up Your Alley.
